In 2021, I joined the Herc Rentals account at Deloitte Digital as the Lead UI & Senior Product Designer. I helped lead a team of designers set out to build an innovative digital solution that would empower customers and elevate the way they manage their fleet.
In the span of just ten months the team designed entirely new fleet & account management systems as well as a robust e-commerce platform. From reserving equipment, to tracking delivery and pick-up, to monitoring equipment performance, to managing who operates equipment, this new solution has it all.
In the summer of 2022 the new platform was launched and since then it has generated a quarterly growth in new digital accounts of more than 25%. In a year after launching Telematics alerts, which provide real-time GPS and equipment diagnostics data, grew by over 150% compared to the same time period post go-live.
